Building upon the foundation of our previous model, Seedream 2.0, we developed Seedream 3.0 by introducing a series of groundbreaking innovations. At the data tier, we doubled the dataset scale and implemented a novel dynamic sampling mechanism that balances both image cluster diversity and textual semantic coherence. During pretraining, we integrated advanced techniques such as Mixed-Resolution Training, Cross-Modality RoPE, Representation Alignment Loss, and Resolution-Aware Timestep Sampling to enhance scalability, generalizability, and visual-language alignment. Post-training optimization further refines output quality through aesthetic-focused captioning and a VLM-based reward model, while model acceleration innovations reduce inference costs and speed up generation without compromising stability.

The result is a model that delivers native 2K resolution output, with compatibility for even higher resolutions and flexible aspect ratios. Seedream 3.0 excels in text-image alignment, aesthetic refinement, compositional structure, and precise typography—achieving exceptional small-font rendering, accurate Chinese character generation, and sophisticated long-text layouts. Its graphic design capabilities now surpass manually created templates from industry platforms, enabling effortless production of designer-level posters, cinematic scenes, and lifelike portraits. And with our lightning-fast generation pipeline, users can create 1K resolution images in just 3 seconds, making Seedream 3.0 one of the fastest, most capable AI visual generation systems available today.
